1973 Norton 750 Commando

This was a nice original bike that had been sitting for 20 odd years a friend's daughter bought it with the intent of restoring it but as time went on she decided it was best to let someone else have the pleasure : ) I decided from the out come it needed an Alton electric start (France) and a belt drive primary from Steve Maney in the UK. Both of those items are well worth investing in, they both went in without so much as a raised eyebrow. My compliments to both makers on outstanding fit and quality. This bike also got an LED headlamp and solid state regulator rectifier. I have to say the marriage of new and old produce a very nice motorcycle. lots of polished aluminium, lots of stainless fasteners and a ton of other upgrades.
